Capstone Presentations

My capstone presentation went pretty well. Before the judges came, I attempted to practice with my friends and I kept stumbling over my words and forgetting what I wanted to say. The fact that I was a public relations major made me even more nervous because I should be able to speak easily. I got to practice my speech on a few juniors and when the judges came, it was a breeze. They seemed very interested and they didn't ask alot of questions (hopefully because I answered them without being asked). The worst part about capstone was the nervousness I felt beforehand and the best part about capstone was the relief I felt afterwards.

At my booth I had my infographic poster, two magazines, a bowl of candy, and my laptop. I brought my laptop so I could show the video I made as my end product. I also had lipstick, eyeshadow, brushes, etc. as props on my table because my problem was false advertising in the beauty industry. The thing that made me stand out from most tables is the fact that my infographic was on an aisle front and center. When people would walk around, they would see the pink lady on my infographic along with all the makeup on my table and get curious.
