Elements of Design

One of the elements of design is Lines. This image is an image of a fingerprint. This is a great example of lines because there are so many different types of lines and none of the lines are alike. There are curved lines, straight lines. dashed lines and so much more.

Color is very important in art because it helps bring out an emotion in the person that is viewing it. The picture on the right uses different shades of colors to show the details and contours of the face.
